Sri Lanka Day 11 (Welisara): Production Report All-day Everyday
Breakfast: Chicken and egg sandwiches
Continued with production report today and then finished keying all the data we have! Continued with the learning of Quickbook. YAY, work ends! Can’t wait for the weekends. Accommodation and transport are already settled for the trip to Galle!
Lunch: Pineapple fried rice with prawns (shrimps).
Just when I was about to give up on Sri Lanka cakes, we had food tasting at work today and the cakes were really good!!! I even asked the plant manager if it was alright for me to take a big big piece. So there were 3 cakes and I took 3 big big slices. That is how deprived I am of good cakes.
Super full by then we were back to Misuki. So dinner was just a dessert- banana boat and french fries. Unhealthy me but oh wells. Finally some decent ice cream. Just some ice cream man ice cream but I'm grateful enough. It was topped with cashew nuts so it tasted really not bad. i think this is $5.50, lucky no need to pay. But anyway, cashew nuts are really damn expensive here. About only 100g, it costs $3.50.
