Sri Lanka Day 20 (Welisara): Small Crisis
Morning!
See my bulls' eyes! And egg sandwich! Eating way too many eggs here.
Crisis of the day, no train to Anudharapura because of their festival. Accomodation cancellation fees is $30! ):
Lunch: tandoori chicken and roasted chicken noodles.
SO basically our whole day was spent thinking how to solve this crisis and everyone in the office was helping us with it ahhahah! Calling the hotel to see if we can change the date and so on! When we managed to change, the next problem was where to go this weekend? We can't possibly take the sleepers' train to Nuwara Eliya because that will mean we have to leave later like in 2h time after work and we have't packed. So, the conclusion was... let's just explore Colombo.
So chit-chat with the operations guys and before we knocked off, cake tasting!! OMMSSS.
The 2nd cake tasted really weird and it was made from returned goods. OMG! My shocked face even though the plant manager assured his that it was edible.
Really quite chill today because we just learnt about local purchasing then looked at some documents and I love ending the day without having work for the next day.
I can even slack near the door. Too eager to go.

Dinner: my non-spicy hot butter cuttle fish is still not what I expected. But it was still not bad.
AHHHH! Need to go out tmr and I always procrastinate when it comes to packing.
