Sri Lanka Day 32 (Welisara): Tank Farm & Costing Report
Good morning! Look at my cheesy omelette.
Had a good sleep today because I brushed my teeth early but then again, I was still tired. Tank Farm visit was arranged to be at 10am today but because the in-charge was busy, we had to postpone it and so we did costing instead. There were oh-so-many numbers and data to look at.
Something embarrassing happened today but I just acted cool about it. Some of my close friends would know what happened to be at work today. HAHAHHA but anyway, got to figure out the numbers in the costing report but I had a lot of school work to deal with such as forensic, PA as well as OSL. Since the wifi at Misuki is not working well, I really had no choice but to put my work aside and settle these things during working hours.
Lunch: Chicken and curry as well as kangkung with chilli and garlic
After lunch, we finally went to the Tank Farm. I forgot to bring my notebook but anyway I thought it was really interesting and the guy told us about this story about a “stupid” worker who painted the tanks wrongly. HHAHAHA. I forgot to snap a photo of it but I shall do so on Friday when we meet him again. Then I will update this blog post.

Anyway the story was like he wanted to differentiate the 4 nitrogen tanks from the 3 air tanks and asked the worker to paint the bottom of the air tanks blue. However, when he reached the factory, the guy was already painting the 5th tank, which meant that he painted 3 air tanks and 2 nitrogen tanks and so it was too late to stop him. In the end, 2 nitrogen tanks are painted and 2 are not. HAHAHHA.

Dinner. I have decided to have my dinner at the lobby so that I could use the wifi there. I had this mountain of seafood noodles and banana split. I just had to order bananas because we didn’t have that for lunch so I felt a little out of place if I were to not eat banana during a weekday.
