Sri Lanka Day 44 (Welisara): Birthday Treat of Ice-cream and Cakes
WOW look at my egg sandwich which was full of eggs.
Told Gayan that we have finished the work here and Mr Thanveer was not coming into the office today so we were told that we would be moving tomorrow.Gayan told us that the culture would be different but not to worry. HAHAH I really don't know what to expect. It was lucky that we forgot to bring the ice cream to work today actually because we bought the same one as the PMG Manager and it was his birthday today so he treated everyone.
So after wishing him happy birthday, I went back to clear my work. Really thankful for a day off so that I can settle all my learning reports. Yup, so I completed the tank farm learning report, laboratory learning report and finally strated on the imports and exports learning report. I had time to settle my OSL too and thankfully both matches for comm fund 2 are approved now.
Lunch: Butter Naan and Tandoori Chicken. Luckily Lynette has curry so I can dip my naan in the curry.
If you think that ice cream treat would be sufficient, nope, he even got 2 huge cakes for the whole office.
HR told us that we will be moving to Colombo only on Wednesday. So YAY! I have one more day to clear my to-do list. Hopefully, I will be able to finish everything before moving to the next phase.
Ended the day with an email from Maggie Wang. Yup finally got my acceptance from NSYSU, even though there is no doubt that they would accept everyone.
Dinner: Deviled Chicken which was so hot!
Bang into the wheelbarrow this morning and say hi to my new friend on my thigh.
Finally gonna sleep at 10pm. Goodnight world.
