Good morning! Last breakfast at Misuki Plaza Hotel

Missing Jonathan because he was not feeling well and went back home. So this is Charles, who picked us up from the airport when we arrived. We just found out his name yesterday. LOL

Bye Misuki!

My mum said that she could predict me crying when leaving Sri Lanka because I would miss my colleagues when I was telling her how much I wanted to be home. I also guessed that she would be right given that I am a very emotional person and I can cry over any small thing.

6.5 weeks at Pyramid Lanka, the factory site was not very long but it wasn’t short either. I have forged many good friendship with the people here and I have already been used to how things work here. Undoubtedly, I would miss the people here but surprisingly, I didn’t feel very sad because everyone was just sending us off happily and wishing us all the best.

Went around to take photos with the colleagues and of the factory. Bye Pyramid Lanka, you will be missed. There goes the #pyramidlanka tag in replacement with #pyramidwilmar.

Goodbye Pyramid Lanka and all!

Moved to the head office with the help of Mohan and honestly, I was expecting some settle-down time such that we would check into the hotel straight and unpack. But what exactly happened was that we actually brought our all our barang barang to the office and start our work straight-away.

Very different working environment because the office is located in a small building together with Samsung and it covers 3 storeys. The office is crammed with limited personal space. Got to adapt to the new place with new faces all over again but I’m quite excited to see what’s ahead of me.

Lunch: Chicken Rice and Curry.

Hope I don't have to eat this everyday.

The working hours here is from 8.30am - 5.00pm. Can we leave at 5pm then? HAHAH. I guess not.

Some green tea for tea time. I like the tea cup (:

Finally went to Hotel Eurolanka and at the first look it was better than expected with good fittings and lightings. Went off to Majesic City for dinner and some grocery shopping.

Dinner: Pizzahut

Really a lot of beggars outside majestic city as well as tuktuk drivers.

Came back to realise that there is no wifi, no hot water and freaking a lot of ants in the hotel room. Arranged the fittings and unpacked my things to make it feel more like home. Really turn off by the ants. Hope I will get used to this soon like eating outside, taking care of my own transportation, bathing in cold water, living without wifi, killing ants every second, dealing with beggars and tuktuk drivers.
