Sri Lanka Day 53 (Matale): POYA DAY To Riverstone - Mini Cameron Highlands

We were supposed to visit the General Manager's house today but because his daughters weren't around, the plan was cancelled and since Indika jio-ed us to Riverstone, we decided to go ahead with that!

The drive was crazy long and I think it was so taxing on him because he had to drive back and fro while we could just chill in his car and sleep.

Lunch Buffet at a restaurant along the way. Wanted to treat Indika to the lunch but he insisted on paying. SIGH... he said we are students and shouldn't be paying. Still managed to pay 560 rupees after struggling. Other costs such as tolls, petrol, snacks were all covered by him. Really thankful for colleagues like him.

Riverstone is a place which I thinkonly locals will know. Difficult to get there without private vehicle and there were so many instances when we got lost. But we finally got there in the end and the view is absolutely beautiful, which reminded me of Cameron Highlands, or even more beautiful than that.
